These earrings have a tad bit of weight to them because they are made from genuine Malachite and glass crystals but they are still comfortable to wear. The fancy French hook makes them the kind of earring you do not need a back to because it is harder for them to come off your ear. In length, the earrings measure 2 and 3/4 inches while the widest point on the earrings is 1/2 and this is the circular ring which is part of the French hook.
