We tasked our designer this season with creating pieces that were directly inspired from our archives but reflected the necessities of a modern consumer. This Fair Isle has the look of a classic scratchy Shetland wool piece but by utilizing a unique wool and lambswool blend from Italy we've evolved it into something much better. Not only does this yarn has a very soft hand feel but it is lighter than you would expect. Our designer created this entire design exclusively by hand and then we translated it into this sweater. We've knit this sweater in true intarsia instead of by a less costly option. This truly shows the workmanship but also allows us to keep the weight of the garment down and as such make it an ideal layering piece. Dry clean. Imported.
