Brushed fleece is incredibly soft. This item is in between a sweater add a coat. It is open in the front like an open cardigan because it is not intended to come together in the front. It's warmer than a sweater due to the soft brushed fleece fabric. It has pointed lapels, and great front patch pockets for your hands, keys, etc. The fabric is primarily burgundy but there are other colors mixed into the fabric so it looks great with brown and gray in addition to jeans and black bottoms.
