winter blues

As we bid adieu to another Los Angeles "winter," I find myself reminiscing about the outfit photos that didn't see the time of day. This is my tribute to them, my winter uniforms, which had always consisted the overlaying of a tweed or wool overcoat of sorts as well as a range of trusty boots (from military to ankle designs). Yes, even in mild 60 degree temps, I employ layers like it's my security blanket. Can't help but think like an Angeleno with a New York state of mind!
