Opening weekend at Comerica Park and we couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful Sunday. Although the Tigers suffered a crushing loss to the Yankees (payback for having swept them in the American League Championship Series last fall and nearly sweeping them again this past weekend…?), it was a gorgeous day and one that gave Detroiters a welcome glimpse of the warm, sunny spring to come (eventually).
