Maker Antik Batik is based in Paris, France. Designer Gabriella Cortese has crisscrossed the globe, infusing the old-world techniques she encountered into her eclectic clothing line. While traveling in Bali after college, the thousand-year-old batik technique for printing silk inspired Gabriella to create her first range of pareos.
