This ring is one-of-a-kind with a large oval green 18.5x15mm amethyst. I was reading about all the different kinds of rings and there was a 'pope' ring which had a very large stone, as you can imagine. Since I usually wear and build small jewelry, this name seemed apt. The band is a construction of two elements -- 2 half-rounds and a twisted rope in between. This ring, despite its' size, is quite comfortable. The interior of the bezel forms to your finger (you can see the curve in one of the photos) and have kept the back open so the light can shine through this gorgeous green faceted amethyst. You are sure to be a hit with this one-of-a-kind gem. Materials: The bezel is fine silver (99.99% silver), the band is sterling with a matte brushed finish. Size: 6 Due to the nature of the band construction is it not possible to re-size this.
