Max Mara - Creative director Ian Griffiths rediscovered Max Mara's original 1980s Teddy Bear coat in the house's archives, then worked with specialists to faithfully recreate the signature faux-fur fabric of this Tedgirl style - it was originally developed by a German mill making children's toys. Crafted from a blend of wool and alpaca with a satin lining, it has voluminous lapels, drop-shoulder sleeves and welt hip pockets. Layer it over an all-black ensemble for maximum effect.
