After moving from her childhood town in Sao Paulo, Lenny Niemeyer relocated to Rio de Janeiro where her career as a swimwear designer began. With no luck finding the perfect bikini to suit her personal style, she naturally started designing and manufacturing swimwear for other Brazilian brands. After 10 years, she decided to create her own label by opening her first store in Ipanema. Since her runway debut in 1997, her name has been synonymous with luxury swimwear with international editorial features alongside the world's top models walking her fashion shows. With the huge growth of her success, her brand has since expanded the ready-to-wear collection to include handbags, footwear, and accessories.
