In 2009, designer Jaclyn Mayer spontaneously turned a stray piece of rope into a necklace for her friend, artist Orly Genger, to wear to a gallery opening. The necklace was so well-received that the duo decided to collaborate on a collection of jewelry that would function as wearable art. Each of their pieces has a boho feel and a touch of nautical charm - think woven rope detailing, pops of primary color and streamlined silhouettes.
