These bags were handmade in Moshi, Tanzania. We purchased them once we descended from Mt. Kilimanjaro and toured the makers' kiosks in the surrounding town. Each bag is unique and mostly made from remnant fabric. Waste not, want not. These bags are big enough to hold cash, lip balm, a passport and a cell phone.
