I originally started this design as a tower-inspired chest piece for myself, but halfway through I decided it's gonna be a while before I can actually get it, so I decided to make it a shirt design. The hawk in the back is David, who is in front of Maerlyn's grapefruit. David is holding the rook's skull. The roses are an obvious reference, as is the keyhole, tower and symbols above David. The quote is my favourite from the series. :)
