KTZ is a collaboration between Koji Maruyama, Sasko Bezovski and Marjan Pejoski. Koji is Japanese. Sasko and Majan are both from Macedonia. Sasko Bezovski moved to the UK in 1989 to pursue his interest in music and other creative disciplines. 1996 saw the opening of his first cult boutique Kokon to Zai, originally designed as a space for creatives and DJs to hang out. The stores were the starting point to the development of the KTZ label.
